Wenyuan Wu, Ph.D., Executive Director
Wenyuan Wu previously was the Director of Administration at the Asian American Coalition for Education (AACE). She holds a Ph.D. in International Studies from the University of Miami and has authored a book (Chinese Oil Enterprises in Latin America: Corporate Social Responsibility) as well as many chapters in other books. In her official capacity, Dr. Wu has been interviewed by NBC News, NPR Boston, Boston Globe, Quartz, China Daily, College Fix, and other prominent news sources. As a writer, she has been published on the South China Morning Post, China Dialogue, and Oil Price, among other outlets.
Damian Fussel, State Director
Mr. Fussel has nearly a decade of experience managing political campaigns all across California and experience in government and private non-profit sectors. Damian worked at the California State Legislature under Senator Ted Gaines and as a policy advocate for organizations such as the Building Industry Association and Howard Jarvis Taxpayers Association. Damian has worked on political campaigns ranging throughout Northern California, parts of the coastline in San Luis Obispo County, Central California counties and Southern California in Orange County as well and many statewide political campaigns.
Tina Xu, Asian Community Outreach Director
Tingna Xu is a Bay Area community leader and mother of two, currently serving on the Community Board Advisory Council of Milpitas Unified School District. She has been a teacher and an artist for more than 10 years. Her graphic designs are used by CFER in its No on 16 campaign. As an artist and a leader, she has been interviewed by Voice of America, World Journal, Singtao Daily and more.
Steve Miller, Orange County Co-Chair
Steve Miller is an entrepreneur and father. He was previously a public company general counsel and an attorney practicing M&A and corporate tax law. He has lived in Irvine, California for over 20 years and is an active member of the community. Steve graduated with honors from the University of Chicago Law School and attended the University of California at Davis.

Marc Ang is a Southern California community leader, currently president of community organizations Asian Industry B2B, People Encouraging People, and Chinese American Citizens Alliance (Orange County). He is also Director of Outreach for Californians for Equal Rights, dedicated to the fight against systemic racism, specifically Proposition 16. His events have drawn thousands of attendees from all walks of life, in the areas of promoting veterans, the autism community, anti-human trafficking, health and wellness, and business advocacy.
